Government Information Day 2015 will take place on May 29, in Room 126 of Memorial Library on the UW-Madison Campus. This year's program will be a "Best Practices Exchange" in which conference attendees will share what they are doing in their libraries to facilitate and promote access to government information.

Some potential topics include:
  • Sharing of libguides or databases on local government or any other government information topics
  • Government information digitization projects
  • Reference and technical services provided to patrons
  • Updates and news from the field about government information in libraries
The topics and presentations will be designed to foster discussion and will allow people to leave the conference with new ideas to try in their libraries, as well as having gained a better understanding of what's going on in other libraries from around the state.

Visit the conference webpage for more information and to stay on top of when the final conference agenda is provided. To submit a presentation idea or other questions, email Eileen Snyder.
